ABOUT ME
Hi there, I’m Lydia and welcome to Moochin’ Pooches Dog Walking and Sitting! So glad to have you here. I started the business in February 2022 after deciding my job in marketing just wasn’t right for me and I wanted to do something about it. I absolutely adore dogs and love spending time outdoors so decided I would combine the two, take the leap of faith and start my own little doggy walking business!
We have had dogs in the family since I was 9 and we currently have a miniature goldendoodle called Yogi, who joined our family in 2020. He is quite an anxious pup and as an owner of a nervous doggy, I wanted to create a business that catered to dogs who require a more tailored and personal approach to walks and sitting.
I am fully insured, DBS checked, canine first aid trained and also hold a full clean UK driving licence so you can have peace of mind that your pooch is in safe hands.

Here at Moochin’ Pooches, your dogs safety is number one priority which, is why my group walks are limited to maximum 3 dogs. My small groups are perfect for dogs who love to socialise and play or even for those who need a friend to help bring out some confidence! Walks are always in local fields (or parks if the fields are a complete mud bath!) so they are away from roads and I always ensure dogs spend absolutely minimal to no time in the car.
I understand that not every dog will suit a group walk environment so I also offer 1-1 solo walks for dogs who prefer their own company!
This option is perfect for anxious, nervous, reactive or older dogs who would benefit from a little one on one time and require a slightly more tailored service to suit their needs.
Going away on holiday and need someone to look after your pooch? Look no further! I understand that it's difficult leaving your dog to go away and you want them to feel as comfortable and as safe as possible. Which is why I offer in-house overnight sitting so they can stay in an environment they know and you can be rest assured your house will be looked after too!
